Parking: There is a Flying J at exit 2 south of the Franklin weigh station. There are a two truck stops at exit 6 north of the truck scale.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 2 (or follow this routing rather than getting onto the freeway if you are following alternate routing for the Tennessee scale) for route 31W. Turn left off the ramp and go 3.5 miles (you’ll pass Jimmy’s Auto Transmission and Salvage, a Wal-Mart Super Center and a Tractor Supply Company. Past the TSC, you’ll come to a light at route 1008. There is a Ford dealer on the south west corner of this intersection, turn right. Route 1008 is the truck route for route 100. You’ll be on route 1008 for just under a mile- going through the light at Washington Way (industrial area). When you come to the light at the junction with route 100 there is a sign for I 65- turn right. You’ll be 2.2 miles from the ramp for I 65 north.
