Parking: There is a rest area a few miles south of the scale and a Gee Cee’s Truck stop at exit 57 north of the scale.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 9, route 502 east, NE 179th St, Battle Ground. When you get to the light at the end of the ramp, you’ll go straight, following route 502 east. After 2 miles, you’ll come to the light at 219th St. Route 502 turns right, but you will continue straight on NE 10th Ave. You’ll go another 2.3 miles and you’ll see a sign for I 5. DON’T TURN LEFT HERE- if you turn left on S 5th Street following signs for I 5, it will put you out in front of the weigh station. Keep going straight. You have another 3.2 miles going straight- you’re now on NE Timmen Road. NE Timmen Road is a bumpy road that curves around and goes through a forested area. It dead ends at NW La Center Road. Turn left at the stop sign for NW La Center Road and go 1.2 miles to the right turn for the ramp to I 5 north. This puts you out at exit 16 north of the weigh station. There is a Shell with truck parking just before the north bound on ramp.
