WEIGH STATION

Parking: There is truck parking at South of the Border at exit 1 and a rest area at mm 5 south of the scale, there is a rest area at mm 48 north of the Lumberton weigh station. There is a BP fuel stop at exit 25 north of the truck weigh station, but there is not room for much truck parking. There is a Shell truck stop at exit 31 north of the scale.
Alternate Route Information
This route follows the over-height truck detour but is marked as no thru trucks. Take exit 22 for route 301, Local Traffic. There is a Wal-Mart to the right but you will turn left and cross over the freeway. This puts you on route 301. You’ll be on 301 for about 4 miles. 301 brings you right back to I 95. You’ll cross over I 95 and turn left onto the ramp for I 95 north. This puts you out at exit 25 north of the Lumberton weigh station. - NB

This route follows the overheight truck detour but it is marked as No Thru Trucks. Take exit 25 for route 301, Local Traffic. This is a turnaround ramp, so when you come to the top of the ramp, turn left. Don’t cross over the freeway. Once you turn left, you’ll be on route 301. Take 301 for 3.7 miles back to the ramp for I 95 south. If you continue past the ramp for I 95 south, there is a Wal-Mart on the east/south side of the freeway. - SB
