IF YOU ATTEMPT TO BYPASS THIS SCALE ON ROUTE 29/74, BE AWARE THAT THERE IS AN UNMARKED FUNCTIONAL SCALE ON THIS BYPASS ROUTE. If you can confirm that that scale is closed the routing is to exit at exit 27 and take route 273 right to route 29/74. Turn left and go to Sam Wilson Road (at a light and marked TO 95) turn left and go to I 85 north. Or you can continue straight on 29/74 and go to I 485. - NB

There is an unmarked, functional scale on 29/74 if you attempt to bypass on the northbound side only. You can take exit 29, Sam Wilson Road off I 85 and go south to 29/74. Turn right and go to route 273. Turn right and go back to I 85. - SB
