Parking: There is a Flying J truck stop at exit 6 and a parking area at mile marker 5.5 east of the Olive Branch weigh station. There are two pilot truck stops at E. Shelby Drive west of the truck scales.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 4 and turn right. You will go up 1.7 miles to the ramp that brings you around to route 302 west. The ramp will take you up and over route 302 and curve you around putting you on the west bound side. Once you get onto route 302 west you’ll go about a mile back to route 78 west. - WB
Information
There is a sign before exit 4 that says “transponder equipped trucks follow in-cab signal.”
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 2 and turn left. Go past Goodman Road- Goodman will take you the way you want to go but it is residential and clearly marked “no trucks.” You’ll go .7 miles until you see a sign for 305. There is a sign that says “to I 78, to 305.” You will bear to the right there and go down the ramp. At the end of the ramp, turn right. This is a pretty skinny road but not too skinny. You’ll be on this road for less than 1/2 mile. When you come to the stop light (not the stop sign- go straight at the stop sign), turn right. Route 305 is also Germantown Road. You’ll go 1.5 miles back to route 78 and head west. - EB
