Parking: Exit 8 has truck parking at Shelton Fireworks and exit 4 has a Pilot west of the Hillsboro scale. There is a rest area at mm 23 and a truck stop at exit 34 east of the weigh station.
Alternate Route Information
You can take exit 15 for route 41 south (right turn) and go to route 136 and turn left and go past route 341 to the flashing light in Waynestown at route 25. Turn left/north on route 25 and go back to the freeway- they cannot see you from the scale house. If you miss the left turn on route 25 you can continue straight on route 136 to the town of Crawfordsville. You’ll come to route 231 (major state route) and turn left. You’ll go up to the freeway there (it’s a left turn for the east bound ramp). Going this way doesn’t add many miles but you’ll have congestion and stop lights in the town of Crawfordsville.
