Parking: There is a rest area at mm 93 north of the Warren weigh station. There is a Crazy D’s truck stop with a large parking lot and a Huggy Bear’s Quick Stop with truck parking south of the truck scale.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 86 for route 224 east. Follow the signs “to route 3 south” rather than taking the right turn for route 116 east- the right turn from 116 onto route 3 is fairly tight and it’s not worth it to save less than a mile. Go to the stop sign at route 3 (there is a Marathon gas station with a Broaster’s Chicken on the south west corner) Take route 3 south 6.6 miles to the four way stop with a flashing red light. You will pass a towing and recovery business with large truck towing- it’s indicated by the “truck entrance” signs. Turn right onto route 124 west. Go 3.7 miles to route 5 south. When route 124 crosses over I 69 you will be less than 1/2 mile south of the truck weigh station, but you are on a legal truck route that has moderate truck traffic on it. Turn left at the four way stop with the flashing red light for route 5 south. Go 1.5 miles back to I 69. If you prefer a less visible route, don’t turn from route 3 onto route 124. Instead, take route 3 another 15 or 16 miles to route 18. Turn right/west on route 18 and head back to I 69 south.
