Alternate Route Information
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RUN ROUTE 17 AS ALTERNATE ROUTING FOR THIS SCALE- if you take route 251 east to 17 north, there is a turnoff for the weigh station on the northbound side of I 95 from route 17. There are height sensors by the sign for the weigh station but no cameras. You may be able to get away with blowing by at night, but the scale house has a direct line of sight to route 17. Not advised. Advised ALTERNATE ROUTING is to take exit 49 for route 251. Turn left off the exit ramp and go 3.2 miles to the right turn to follow route 251 north- if you don’t turn you will go to the town of Cox, so you’ll want to make the right turn. Continue following route 251 9.3 miles to the stop sign at route 57. Turn right on route 57 south. Go 5 miles to the ramp for I 95 north. BE AWARE- LOCALS SAY DOT WILL SET UP ON OCCASSION IN THE WIDE AREAS OF ROUTE 57 NEAR I 95. - NB

Customer Feedback:
Over dimensional permitted loads.
We see your new road signs stating trucks by pass scales, is that supposed to include permitted loads.
I have not seen closed signs as I travel that corridor
quite a lot personally

Thank you
