Parking: TA and Pilot at exit 142 west of the Sneads scale and Flying J at exit 192 east of the weigh station.
Alternate Route Information
This route has two rail road crossings and a weight limited roadway.
Exit I 10 at exit 152 (Grand Ridge, Bloutstown SR 69). Take state route 69 north (left turn at the bottom of the exit ramp). State Rt 69 is a two lane road. Travel 4.9 miles north to the flashing red light. You will cross a RR track just before US RT 90. The crossing is pretty level. SHOULD NOT* be a problem for a stinger mount car trailer. Turn right at the flashing light onto US RT 90. US RT 90 is a divided four lane highway. You will travel 5.8 miles on US RT 90 to Glouster road. Glouster road is also County Rd 286. It is not at a light. The turn is marked “to I 10″ with a right turn arrow. The turn is tight. County Rd 286 is a two lane road. It is narrow, but very passable. You will cross over the RR tacks again. The crossing is pretty level and SHOULD NOT* be a problem for a stinger mount car trailer. County Rd 286 has a weight limit of 36 tons. Travel 5.7 miles to the junction with I 10 east. You will make a left turn onto the entrance ramp. You will re-enter I 10 at exit 158 (Sneads County Rd 286). - EB

There are two rail road crossings and a weight limited road on this route.
Exit I 10 at exit 158 (Sneads, County Rd 286). Turn north off the ramp (don’t cross the freeway). You will travel north on County Rd 286. 286 has a weight limit of 36 tons. You will go 5.3 miles to the juction of US Rt 90. 286 is a narrow two lane, but very passable. Just before the juction with US RT 90, there is a RR crossing. The crossing is pretty level. it SHOULD NOT* be a problem for a stinger mount car trailer. Turn left (west) onto US RT 90. US RT 90 is a divided four lane highway. Travel 5.8 miles to the red flashing light at the juction of State Rt 69. Turn left onto 69. You are now headed south. State RT 69 is a two lane highway. You will cross over the RR tracks again. The crossing is pretty level and SHOULD NOT* be a problem for a stinger mount car trailer. You will travel 4.8 miles to the juction with the I 10 west entrance ramp. You will re-enter I 10 at exit 152 (Grand Ridge, Bloutstown St RT 69). - WB
