Parking: Exit 280 on I 40 and exit 4 on I 55 both put you out at the West Memphis truck stops- Petro, Pilot, Flying J- south of the Marion scale.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 10 west .8 miles to the left turn on route 118. There is no stop- so you’ll have to keep your eyes open for route 118 to the left- there is a sign right for route 118 right before you get to it. After you turn left on 118, you will go 3.1 miles back to the ramp for I 40 west. When you are on route 118 you will pass a sign for the Mid America Center Industrial Park and you will pass a Bosch Distribution Center. Once you get back to I 40 you can go either direction without having a scale to cross. If you choose to go east into West Memphis, this exit puts you out EAST of the eastbound weigh station (the east bound weigh station is marked incorrectly on the map)- so you won’t have to worry about crossing the east bound scale.
Another option you have is to continue past route 118 on I 64 for another 4.6 miles. You will come to route 147- again, there is no stop sign so you’ll have to pay attention to signs for route 147. You’ll turn left/south on route 147 and take that another 4.7 miles back down to I 40. At this point you had better head west, not east- unless you want to run the bypass route for the I 40 W. Memphis east bound weigh station. You are west of the east bound scale at exit 241 where route 147 puts you out on I 40.
