Parking: There is a Kum and Go truck stop with very little parking and also a McDonalds and motel with a joint parking lot at exit 46 east of the weigh station. There is a rest area at mm 32 and a Wings over America truck stop at exit 40 west of the Avoca weigh station.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 46 and turn left. Go to the town of Walnut. In 1.9 miles you will come to the stop sign at Pearl St. Turn right- this is route 83 west but it is not well marked, so just turn right on Pearl. Go 62 miles to the stop sign at the junction of route 59. Turn right- after you turn there will be a sign indicating that I 80 is ahead. Go 1.5 miles to the left turn for the ramp to I 80 west bound.
