Alternate Route Information
Take exit 49 for Gregory Lane and Monument Blvd. You can follow the signs for Monument Blvd (staying left on the ramp when the ramp for Gregory Lane goes right) and turn right off the ramp when you come to Monument Blvd. You will immediately get in the left lane to turn left onto Contra Costa at the light. Contra Cost turns into North Main Street. You’ll go right past the south bound weigh station (they can see you and wave to say hi)- there is a ramp there for 680 at the light for Sunnyvale Ave, but we suggest staying on North Main street. You’ll go another .9 miles after passing the south bound weigh station. The ramp for I 680 south is a right turn ramp just past the light at San Luis Road. - SB
Alternate Route Information
Take the exit for North Main Street. This is a turnaround exit- turn right off the exit and cross over the freeway. You’ll go .9 miles, passing Office Depot, Napa and Strictly-To-Go Pizza. You’ll also cross through the light at Second Street. You’ll come to the light at Treaty Blvd. It’s Treaty Blvd. to the right and Geary Rd. to the left- there is a Chevron on teh south west corner of the intersection and on the right corner are a Fedex drop box and two UPS drop boxes. Turn right on Treaty. You’ll cross over the freeway and turn left onto the ramp for 680 north. If you look to your right as you cross over the freeway, you can see the Walnut Creek weigh station- and if you can see them, they can see you.
The longer route is as follows: You can take either I 580 west or 24 west to I 880 north to I 80 east to John Muir Pkwy/rte 4 east to Concord/Martinez area. Or just stay on I 80 east to I 780 south to Benicia area. - NB
