This weigh station is not in use but there is clear access to the weigh station and no reason DOT couldn't set up here. Local drivers say that DOT does sometimes do inspections at this location.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 1 in Missouri for route 61 and turn right. You’ll go .2 miles to the junction with route 61 (just past the Shell station) and turn left onto route 61. You’ll be on route 61 for 3.1 miles. Route 61 will take you under a 14’1″ arch at the Missouri/Arkansas border and through an S-curve. You will turn left onto route 150- there is no stop sign or other indicator other than a sign for route 150. After you turn onto route 150, you’ll go 1.4 miles to the ramp for south bound I 55.
