Alternate Route Information
the best route is to take exit 5 in Georgia for route 100 south past the Pilot and Noble to the town of Bowdon, Ga. Turn right at the light for route 166 west. This is a tight turn so be prepared. 166 turns into route 46 at the Alabama border and will take you back to I 20 west. The entire bypass is 31 miles compared to 15 interstate miles.
