Parking: Exit 67 has a Pilot Truck Stop, rest area mm 63 west of the Ionia scale. Exit 77 has a truck stop, and there is a rest area at mm 79 east of the weigh station.
Alternate Route Information
Take exit 67 for route 66 south. When you turn right off the ramp to go south, you’ll see a truck wash/adult entertainment building on the left. Interesting combo. Go south 8.9 miles to the 4 way stop at the junction of route 43- there is a Speedway on the north west corner. Turn left on route 43. Go 21.4 miles on route 43 back to the freeway in the Lansing area. To continue east on 96, follow I 96 east/I 69 south. There is an IGA in the town of Sunfield and on route 43 near the freeway there is a Lowes and a Wal-Mart. - EB
Alternate Route Information
If you are following I 96 west through Lansing, you will take the exit for route 43 west (the interchange is shortly after the turnoff for I 496). Take route 43 west 21.5 miles to the four-way stop at the junction of route 66. On route 43, you will pass a Home Depot and a Wal-Mart near the freeway and an IGA in the town of Sunfield. There is a Speedway on the north west corner of the junction of 43 and 66. When you get to the four-way stop, turn right on route 66, heading north. Go 8.9 miles back to the ramp for I 96 west. Right before you get back to the freeway, you will see a truck wash/adult entertainment building on the left. Interesting combo. - WB
